When my brother-in-law started dating my sister (I was in 7th grade) he had a blue and white one, hard top. I loved riding in it, tons of room! He'd kindly take a few of us kids with them to the drive-in once in a while and when the movie got boring I'd lay behind the backseat looking up out of that huge back window watching tons of falling stars in southwestern Oklahoma... ahhhh good times~

I had moved to Guthrie(out of OSU) with my 57 black chevy and I had no license.anyway a cop stopped me and asked for my license.I told him, I have none.you mean you forgot it at home?no officer I have never had one.the next question was do you have any money.none what so ever as I was in between pay days.he asked me to follow him downtown to the police station. I set and watched wrestling for maybe 20-30 minutes on the dispatchers tv.finally he came back and told me if I left my car in front of the police station until I got my license, they would let me go .I waited two days and asked a friend to drive away 2 blocks and I would take it, and I had my clothes ready and I left town.after 2 weeks I finally got a license thanks so much for the dedication and an awesome example of restoration/capture I am an Okie also-NE however
