Description
The idea behind this comes from the Motel 6 slogan which is "We'll leave the light on for you". In this case, Mrs. Santa waits up for her husband to deliver all his toys on Christmas Eve and she holds a lantern to guide him and his reindeer back through the North Pole snow to their lovely home. :)
Special thanks to Syltermermaid for her lovely Christmas gift of Carol to everyone. What a great character! So this picture is dedicated to Ute!

Hee, to be honest she's probably glad to get him out of the house once a year. All he does is gripe about the problems at the toy factory, the bad economy and the price of magic dust (to fuel his reindeer). The reindeer! Rudolph and Blitzen got in a drunken fight down at the local pub over some doe and he's got to settle that down by next week. She spends her one silent night in a warm, candle-lit, bubbly tub with a glass of wine and a sign on the door that reads. "No Elves Allowed". :)
