Description
Some animals are colored in a way possible hunters are shown "Stop - I'm dangerous!". Wasps or hornets for example wear those nice yellow-black stripes. It's called "Mueller's Mimikry". So far, so good. Now there are other animals who think "Hmmm... I'm not dangerous, but why not fool my hunters? It's worth a try..." - and as well wear yellow-black stripes, though they're definitely harmlessly creatures (doesn't the fly look like a bee or wasp?). This is called "Bates' Mimikry" or "Aposematic coloring". And hey - it works! ;)
Have a nice weekend (pouring rain here) and thanks for looking and your encouring comments!
