took this yesterday morning and had an wild idea that the birds were there to enjoy the sun showing up after being hid for several days

They do seem to have taken their "seats" for an event and have the air of expectation about them. =) I love the "golden light" times and feel a sense of wonder when they come. Perfect capture and sentiment for the day before solstice and the beginning of winter (tomorrow, Sunday). After tomorrow, the shortest day of the year, the daylight starts to return in longer and longer bits. An event to celebrate and enjoy! ::::::chirp:::::: =)
