this is a dutch voc ship in a battle. made this image a few months ago hope you like it!

Prachtig Oranje Blanje Blue. Vaak hadden VOC schepen de Prinsevlag, aangevuld met de letters VOC waarbij de V en de C door de O geschreven waren. De VOC is in Den Haag opgericht. Den Haag was hoofdplaats van de Republiek. Tot 1815 geen stad, maar wel de locatie waar het bestuur van de Republiek gevestigd was. De Prisen van Oranje warne meesttijds militaire leiders. Als zij regeerden was de Republiek machtig. Als gewone burgers dachten dat ze het konden stond de Repub;iek op springen. Vlaggen die op de vijand veroverd werden, werden in de Grote Zaal (ridderzaal) gehangen.

Great! On the left there's an English ship ... but I thought the times of colonization they had the union jack already? ;) - lovely
