Description
every country has its own special Christmas food and in England the specialities in the desert line are the Christmas cake, Christmas pudding and mince tarts.In no other country have I found their equivalent. There is so much globalisation in food ,as almost everything, but here is a bowl of mincemeat that shows so you some of the ingredients...apples, dried fruits, suet and sugars, lemon juice and rind plus the BRANDY!
Home made tarts are fun to make and i find them difficult to resist and make them to share,
Tomorrow will be the finished product!

several years ago some relatives that live in England brought me some of the very same.it was so delicious. beautiful capture and brings back fond memories
