Description

After three consecutive days of non-stop rain, it's always nice to look out the window and see that first glimpse of sunshine. I actually had to pull over and have a mini photo shoot out the window of my car because it was so awe-inspiring. However, none of the pictures I took did it justice. The way the golden rays of sunshine were reflecting off the cumulonimbus clouds... I literally had to catch my breath seeing it. I know the power lines are a bit much, but it still amazed me at how beautiful light could appear, even on a wet city road. Just another reminder that there's always light in the darkness :] ♥ -Hannah

I love this image for two reasons, the lighting, and the reflections. Plus, the capture of the incoming light after a storm is very much a part of life. It's an excellent image all around, even though the lines are there, because it is part of our city living. ;o)

Awesome image...like the traffic signals caught in "caution mode yellow". A signal to the driver that all is not well.
