Description

I was feeling kind of apocalyptic this week and this one just kind of came together. I'm not sure what the backstory is, but I do know I would definitely think twice about making a run at this checkpoint ;) Thanks to Team Dystopia for the Pax Dystopia typeface freebie and thanks for the look!

Great lighting and desert effect. I live in Arizona, and that is very much like how things can appear in the worst of summer heat!

Brutal and Unforgiving. Great use of the volumetric and colors to create the atmosphere. Kudos.

Hang on a sec, cough, need a drink, this picture is so dusty. Fantastic, really puts me in the holiday spirit. ; ) Super letterbox and always good to see a close-up shot of the VAP. I like how it looks like someone did try and create their own exit on the left. Maybe a burned out wreck of what was left upside down in a crater about twenty yards further on. Who knows, could be trying too hard. Great shot, hope you have a good holiday of some kind.

Very cool render Jacob, the atmo suits the scene-setup perfectly, nice placement of characters as well and typical posing of three blokes stuck in the middle of nowhere for days on end.
