Description

I couldn't resist the title, though I wasn't and there wasn't any anyway. Humboldt Bay, again.

a must full-view...a symphony in blues & lights & repetition & solid & water, it's beautiful marilyn. All those high mast posts (don't know the right terms) against the horizonal water & landscape, very musical. Some of your images are like abstracts in line & hue, they're music in that way, like J.S. Bach w/ beauty in line & grace. Nice for the season too, even if there's nothing overtly 'holiday'-ish about it. It feels right for the season because it's a celebration of light & it feels really peaceful. A gentle beautiful capture. (Still catching up—last shot I viewed was a decimated Thanksgiving table!) Enjoy your pre-Christmas weekend! A definite fav.

Like MrsRatbag, everytime I read or hear that title, I think of literally, three bedsheets hanging on a clothesline with a storm bearing down. Ennyweigh, a fine POV employed to capture these intrepid vessels all in a row at the dock, probably awaiting the next regatta.

The visual of these crafts lined up like this with the open water to the right is a great composition. Great shot.

Crystal clear capture of these great looking boats. When I saw the ebot, I thought I was going to see someone holding an empty Jack Daniel's bottle...LOL
