Description
Experimenting with reflections in Poser, the only post work is on the arm coming thru. (Oh a few little touch ups of course). There is a story behind this one, My shrink asked me to define the relationship between my "Comfortably Numb" and "Depression", as Homework. Go figure. lol.
Anyway you really have to zoom in on this one. Thanks to you all for your comments and Have a Fantastic Festive Season whatever faith you follow.

I sit here staring at this picture in total awe... and I wonder... how does she do this amazing stuff? And I don't just mean the technical excellence but also how does one come up with these graphic concepts? I am so glad that I have you on my favourite list because everything you do puts me to a stop and forces me to think about what is going on here.

It's a constant struggle because all you want is to feel nothing since most of the time you are in pain. Nowadays there are more people going through just that. This is what I get from this image. Numb is reaching, holding on to depression and pain, hence the black tears, depression looks away, Numb looks at her as if to say cross over here, it's not perfect but it's better. There needs to be a balance between the two therefore the holding of hands. Very deep image. Reminds me of life itself, there needs to be a balance, an acceptance of things. We are far from accepting things as they are and we blame ourselves sometimes for things we have no control over. I enjoy images that inspire thought and interpretation. Some images I just look at and they are what they are. Other images like this tell a deeper story. The story is developed by the viewer and whatever emotions the image stirs up inside them. I thank you for that. Things will get better, I keep telling myself that. I know deep down they will!
