Description
So I'm sitting at the far end of a bar in Yakima, Washington called the 2nd Street Grill... and I see these wine glasses hanging above the bar. The light was shining through them in a very cool way. So I decide to take a photo. I zoom in and snap the shot with my crappy camera. Then I notice in my photo that about 50 feet behind the wine glasses is a huge photo of a local baseball team from the 1940's hanging on the wall. I know that my photo's quality is not that good but I thought it looked cool so I didn't try to do another one any better I like how this one turned out on accident.

This is awesome! I love the light on the wine glasses, and now that I've been staring at your photograph for about ten minutes, I can't imagine it without the baseball players. As for the quality of the shot ... it's fine. You should go visit a gallery here by "Janiss" and see what kind of work she was doing about a year ago. She did a whole series on glasses in bars, and achieved something quite close to this effect with some pretty amazing postwork. She digs light ... I think you'll like her gallery.

This has a magical quality to it, I love these kinds of "accidents"!! Once in a while, I'll post something I'm not that crazy about and it turns into a big hit with people, so you just never know. But this, wow, it's just so great, I love the old time baseball guys, gives the shot a very fine vintage look!!

BTW...what another bar-pic ? bring'em on ! You are absolutely right Derek, this is quite an extraordinary and interesting experiment, with a 'crappy camera'...and the bonus team in the background !!!
