The images I have chosen to show on Renderosity are just a small sample of my 2D vector and 3D CGI artwork. Interested viewers are invited to also visit my personal website: http://www.dcmstarships.com BIO I enjoy creating original designs of speculative starships, space stations, and futuristic architecture. I started out using TrueSpace for 3D modeling and rendering. Now, I use Rhino5 for 3D modeling and rendering. 2D touch up work on my images is done with Corel Draw and Corel Photo-Paint. For backgrounds, I have used Hubble Space Telescope photos, Universe Image Creator, Lunar Cell and various Photoshop tools provided by fellow Renderosity artists. In addition to making my own artwork, I enjoy reviewing the work of other 3D CGI artists, especially those also doing spaceships. I try to support my fellow Renderosity artists by making supportive comments on those images that catch my eye. I like to buy science fiction themed 3D CGI parts and custom photoshop brushes from the Renderosity Marketplace as another way to support my fellow artists.

Great job as always! Hope to get back to rendering soon. Working on my annual Christmas card as well as finishing a couple of custom presents. After the layoff (50 out of 172), I find myself wearing three hats now for my employer(documentation/websites/graphics). But since We've been on limited travel due to lots of snow (for Seattle anyway), I've been working from home remotely so I can actually switch over to the render machine via my KB Switch and kick off some renders while I'm paying the bills.

Nice texture on the body! Always partial to blue myself and skynet3020's ships are a great inspiration. (Yeah, as shayhurs says - snow here in Seattle - a joke by the standards of those raised in the east and midwest, but here the roads - a drivers - are just plain dangerous)

Excellent work. Yeah, their detailing is out of control. Esp. Skynet's. You did a good job of reflecting that "greebling" here. Working on getting to that level, but I'll have to graduate to another program before I get there. DOGA is surprisingly good once you know how to use it, but it has definite limits that what rj and skynet are using do not have. I'll also need a new rig. Thinking of going quad-core. Then, watch out!
