Yes he is alive. Between home remodel projects and the employer laying off 50 out of 172, I now find myself as not only the tech writer, but the web master and graphics department (other task as assigned).
A bit chilly (moving to Seattle has made me a temperature wimp after living in Vermont).
Took this about midnight last night (Sat.) when the windstorm hit (storm #2). We picked up another 6 inches or so last night on top of the five or so from the first storm.
Been pretty much snowed in since mid last week when the first storm blew in. With any luck and the power stays up, I can continue to work remotely from home.
Gives me the opportunity to kick off renders on Aggememnon (the render machine) since I have both machines on a KVM switch.
Currently working on my annual Christmas card, but hope to start fiddling with Flaming Pear and Photo Shop Pro soon.

wonderful shot of the snow coming down. Here in Michigan we are recovering from the first storm, and the wind and cold are now starting their run. More snow is on tap for later on. It looks like you guys out west are in for this stuff for quite a while, though. Hope your power holds up!

Those look more like snowballs than snowflakes!!! LOL! It's snowing here on Whidbey Island too, for an unusually long time... roads are bad!!!!
