Description

This is the North American black bear, which is making a come back in the eastern U.S. I was watching King Kong when I thought about this one. Sone 40 years ago, given the opportunity, I would have been a hunter. Now I'm glad I only hunt with a camera.

It's a zoo bear. The camera is a Sony Sureshot and it comes with a 12X zoom lens.

I have no trouble hunting for the right reasons but when animals are hunted for the fun of it, the challenge and not the use of it, then it seems wrong. Animals endangered or in peril... they should be left alone. This is a lovely bear. Healthy and happy and I bet will be helping to make several more of his kind before his life is done. Great shot.
