A cold day today
The sun peeking out
As I clean a place
A home so trashed
I learned the names
Of three children
Who lived there once?
So sad their eyes
Logan
Anya
Rinoa
Thru papers of art
And homework it writes
Medical x-rays
Clothes
And toys
All left behind
To give or throw away
As me tears wonder
Slide slowly down
There I think
As I ask why
So sad eyes walk
Away and gone
A pile of trash
No child should hold
