This is beautiful. If you're using Photoshop try saving the image for upload via "File / Save for Web" which will allow you to see how each degree of compression affects the image. Also change whatever color profile you edit with into Srgb color space [see Wikipedia for info]. Again, like the shot, well done.

I can back tim's thoughts on "save for web" (november22), but haven't worked with the other function he speaks of. (He would know, considering the vast amount of print work he does.) The piece itself is a swirl of inner blues, and they're luminous in spots too. And the leaves feel like both detailed leaves and painterly visions of leaves, there are some rapid-feeling colors like they were brushed on with quick intuition; and your always active color and contrasts make them very vivid. A simple 'capture' but very complex. And in some views, it could be leaves falling from the sky, against a backdrop of a very ornate chunk of stone. Very sensitive as always, and your color sense is always deeply expressive.

Very intuitive Anahata. Pulled this one out on a bright Autumn's day. Changed the concept to that of falling leaves when watching them fall into our small pond out back. Working outside magnified the light upon the leaves in the water. That was the capture that sought.
