I thought of this after the picture was posted. "Little Girl Lost" he did not bury me under the crooked tree but instead left my bones for all to see now I am lost and dare not wander far for here I lay, 'neath shining sun and scattered stars I hear my mother calling for me hollering me home from wherever I might have roamed I can feel the sadness of her tears and know she will cry for the rest of her years I want her to know I feel no pain but I should like to know how to find my way home again my spirit does not rest stuck to these bones but one day maybe someone will holler me home. ---Luna, Dec. 23, 2008 *the "hollering me home" reference might be confusing to non-Stephen King readers, but for those of us who've read "Lisey's Story" it will be clear. For the ones who've missed out, it's an awesome book!

Don't need to have read the book to appreciate the great lyrical work! Poem is awesome and could stand by itself but supporting this dark and magical image gives it a special dark power.
