Description

In the late 1899's and early 1900's the Great white Egret was almost wiped out because of their beautiful display feathers, very popular for lady's hats. They have made a wonderful comeback since those days. They are easy to photograph. In most cases all you need is an inexpensive digital camera with a zoom lens. Enjoy Christmas, and I'll be back soon after.

What good news that nowadays they are left in peace to show their feathers off on their own bodies. Great shot! hugs Jane xx
