Description

Well, our She-Bot was so good when she was with Zlata and when she was also inspected by Sarina that she got her wish - She got a new color for her skin and she got some wings. So now, she can fly around with the other Faes. If she's contiunes to be good, they may adopt her into the clan and she will learn the ways of the fae along with Corinda. This was a fun render for me! I learned about the shader paramaters and what happens when you play around with them. For me. this was just simply amazing. I now understand how some of you can take an ordinary object and turn it into something spectacular. WOW! Render time for this image was just over 15 minutes. She-Bot is from ExpressnIMG and her wings are from Traveler over at RDNA. (The one thing I learned about the difference between parenting an item and fitting an item was very apparent when I parented the wings to the She-Bot and then tried to fit them. The results were, to say the least, interesting, however, after I un fitted them I was able to get them where I wanted and that was that.) Thank you all for the wonderful comments and the well-wishes for my parents 35th Anniversary. I appreciate them all. Oh! before I forget - Merry Christmas! Mike

Delightful work, Mike! And so glad you're having such a good time learning all the little nuances of 3D art (aren't we all still learning?). She looks delightful! And a VERY Merry Christmas and blessed Yule to you and yours!

Very difrent looking fae! Also how place something in the list to be parented can effect it's behaivior quite radically! just something else to keep in mind! some people forget to parent the hair to the head and when they change to a new pose the hair does not seen to stay on the character! it's a very common mistake!
