Description

Rosskastanien (Horse Chestnuts) that were left out on a timber table by a small river. Maybe a couple youngsters gathered them up and sorted them out and got them ready to take home to mom, or maybe not. However they got there, I thought they looked interesting today and since I had the camera with me ... Pexmüle, Mausheim, Germany, 25 Dec 2008

Lovely. The ease of composition is a wonderful reminder of the time of the year.

Cool picture. I don't know if I've ever seen horse chestnuts before. Reminds me of the song... Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Are these the kind they would have used? :)
