My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Superb! My Dabbler prog wouldn't work on the new PC, but we got the tablet going(after 2 hours of fiddling). I tried Artrage, thanks to your kind advice, but for some reason I didn't get on with the workspace. BUT Corel Painter 9 is so heavily discounted because of Corel Painter 10 that I bought it!! WOW! Now I just need the time to explore.

I've used artrage, and it's genuinely intuitive and painterly. Your treatment of the fruit is soft & sensuous, and the whole work flows with a kind of fur-like diagonal, like it's washed over in a plush flow; and you've highlighted the oranges with really subtle oil-like impasto and very nice shadow and outlining too. Subtle and yet very present. I agree with the above, it's so nice to see this. Hope your holiday was sweet.

SKILLS!!!!!, Nice one auntie, I had a tablet back a few ago, It had a wireless pen and the tablet was great, and do you know for the life of me, I can't get a bettery for the pen anywhere now, so it's lying dormant in the drawer, and I miss it too :)...I must get that sorted out, you jogged my memory :)

Fine bit of postwork painting in this shot. I may fool around with ArtRage, but a physical disability precludes me from using a WACOM tablet.
