Description

Polymorpher was so kind to make a nebular-shader setting for strata ... :-) great idea, with this way you can manage the universal-look to your picture, not so unflexible like a backgroundpicture :-) - every nebualar is a combination from lights with some light-maps build from polymorphers selfmade-photoshop-texture and some hubble-photos ... it was just a little play around and ... whuuups! - dont know how - some spaceships arrived and minutes later a spacestation opened with 15% less on fuel and beer for openingparty and then this planet apears, funny thing, suddenly it was there ... :-) Okay, it's a one-hour-quickshot with old models and a cool idea :-) - rendertime about 12 minutes

I like beer! Where was my invitation? Seriously now, this is really cool. I get tired of looking for descent space background pictures. Hint, hint ;)

the ship is a half-year-old-experiment with displacement-maps, illuminated alpha-channels and high-res-bump-maps (when you resize the ship you have to resize the high of displacement too - thats stressing :-) ... but I love that bone-world-idea ;-)
