Mark this is simply one that makes you stop and ponder all around you. I have never seen such a wonderous way of bringing this symbol to life. Like most everyone it is a part of my religon also and I must admit I love your depiction here more than any I've seen before. It's like the flame of life is burning so bright, almost fueled by the tree inside but not harming it.

We all seek this internal flame as we come to understanding and enlightening. No wonder it is well known in every culture. Perhaps this is what connects us all without us knowing it. Lovely image that seems to boil from within.

What a lovely interpretation...to me it feels watery, perhaps a puddle with raindrops, reflecting a tall, tall tree. I'm mesmerized by the delicate inkline-like traceries, and the subtle colors. Stunning image!
