Description

Do Not Touch !! Just a little play with shaders :) Here you have some subsurface scattering on the 3 dragons and on the paper lamp, some blurred reflection on the buddha, and some anisotropic silk for the ganesh (thanks to my friend Rutra for his material settings). The light is composed of a HDRI environment and one infinite light with soft shadow. Global illumination and Global radiosity. A slight focal blur and some grain added with DOFPro. Vue7Infinite render.

Wow, definitely a must see in full size! This looks real. The detail of the prices, the message, etc, everything is contributing to make a very realistic render appear even more real. All materials look excellent (I like the ganesh :-)). Great job!

Vince, you're work impresses me, this one is great with the shaders, but the lighting lacks depth. Honest opinion (as the song goes - "please forgive me... ") Rob

Exquisitely done. That silky soft quality on the Ganesh is particularly alluring.

Looks amazing. How long did this take to render?

I don't realy remember the rendering time, but i noticed that the longest material to be rendered was the first dragon on the left. Its material is a derivative of the SSS Rub example included with Vue. The other SSS materials were rather fast to render, only the metal buddha took some time due to the blurred reflections :)
