Description

I love fall photography, I really look forward to it. I like looking for great back lit aspen shots. I took these in early fall 2008 with my new Pentax K20D and DA 16-45 mm lens set at 16mm. Little did I know that a bitter cold "0 degrees F" would soon trash the fall color in my area in just a few days cutting the fall picture taking very short, turning all leaves to black and brown. So I didn't get as many fall shots this year as I would have liked. I had many more places to go in mind, all at about 8 to 10 thousand feet. There were many areas that had not peaked yet that got trashed by early severe cold and wind before I could get back to em. Guess I'll try again next year or maybe if I have the means I'll just fly to the eastern USA if next year does the same thing.
