Yes, it isnt finnished yet. You got to have patience, my friends.

After a while he saw a very beautiful and HUGE lion. He was sitting there looking at his big kingdom.
Now the little zebra was nervous. He had deep respect for the King, but he was a very brave little zebra and after some time he said:
"Dear mister King Lion, would you please help me getting stripes. As you see, I have only 1 stripe, even though I am a zebra.
"HAHAHA" Laughed the Lion. " Wel, I can do that very easy... with my 10 big sharp claws"
The little zebra left in a hurry, not knowing, he was very lucky, that the lion had just eaten a young gnu.
Now the little zebra knew, it was not so easy to get stripes, as he thought.

Your illustrations are really terrific. The story has me sitting on the edge of my seat to find out the end. I have my own ending, so it will be interesting if we end up with the same one, or a variation of it. I will let you know.

I really do like this series Helle and the look on the Lion's face is classic. I think the little Zebra needs to steer clear of him and fast.

first, I'm really sorry for your sciatica! I hope it leaves town, like on New Years Day. (It would be nice if something else didn't descend on you, after this last few months..) .As for the art, these are getting more & more enchanting & expressive. That lion is really cartoon-like with lots of humor. And his placement is a fine contrast to the rest of the image. The zebra has a fine complex posture too. As I've said, I love your bas-relief-like texture; it's subtle but very physical. You're doing real children's illustration. This is a magical series Helle.
