This is something I am making for a contest. I still have a lot to do. Thought I'd post to get opinions on the pose before moving on.

very, very good, but i think it should be more extreme. the only one that looks dead on to me is the first, and that's because of the angle it looks like he's at. i think he should bend forward more, his right arm should be back far enough to clear his hip, his left shoulder should come around more and not make a straight line with his other shoulder, his right knee should come up higher, his torso should tilt to his left more while his legs should be a bit more vertical, his head should still look up about the same amount (bending his neck more), and his cape should have a concave curve upward instead of basically a straight line. but that's just my very uneducated opinion. i think his shape is great, and i like the simple base. my favorite aspect is the cape.

I really like this a lot... not so much hyper-realistic in the motion as it is stylized and very heroic. I think that if you started out to achieve that, rather than to simply imitate art... you've definitely succeeded here, my friend. :o)

I agree with cobaltdream about tweaking the angles a little, i cannot decide if he is punching something or running! If punching then cobalt is prob right, but I would (personally) have the arm up higher as if punching a persons' chin) if running then the arm would need to be more verticle (to my untrained eye anyway)The flow of the cape is really great but yes i too think it needs to be thinner. Great geometry and posing tho. Love it! Boofy

Thanks gang. The cape is thick because it has to have real world thickness in order to be printed and things like capes tend to break if they're too thin. So if I win, I need the cape to withstand the building process as well as shipping.

Dude this Rocks!, I love the character. The pose first off you are on your way for sure, the pose in real world is totaly diff then just Images and 3d becuse its not forgiving. I would be willing to draw this in 2d for you if you want or need it, but it seems as though your getting the right tips. let me know CHEERs.
