You have such wonderful photo opportunities in these old barns in your area. You really do have a great eye for seeing what will make a superb photo. Love them.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SHOT. LOVE THE "CLOSE-UP" OF THE WEATHERED WOOD!! WE HAVE AN OLD MILL DOWN THE RD FROM ME. UNFORTUNATLY THEY ARE LETTING IT, THE SAW MILL & THE COVERED BRIDGE "ROT" INTO THE GROUND. WATER STILL SPILLS OVER A LEDGE. ALMOST LOOKS AS IF THE WATER IS TRYING TO SHOUT "I'M STILL ALIVE!!" THE BUILDINGS ACTUALLY SIT IN WHAT IS NOW A DEEP DITCH ON THE ROADSIDE. MAKES ME _SO_UPSET (ALMOST MAD) WHEN I SEE SOMETHING, THAT WAS A STAPLE IN SOCIETY AT ONE TIME JUST "GO TO POT". GREAT TO HEAR OTHERS GOOD NEWS ABOUT MILLS IN THEIR AREAS. LOVE YOUR SHOTS. NATURAL & NOT ALL BALANCED. MAKES THE PICS ALIVE.

nice frontal feeling, Lynell, a picture that looks right at us. And, as in your other old structures, this is filled with eloquent detail. Very nice grays and blue-grays, and I really like the truncated tree behind it along with the bare branches behind that. It's a grand old facade, and I love how much of it you captured, including the wheel & water...It looks like the kind of place you could do 40 pictures of, and not exhaust it. (Esp with your eye for these wonderful things). And thanks as always for providing us with links & history, et al...
