Description

I know this is another crappy shot, but I was so thrilled to have even gotten this close to take a picture, that I had to post it anyway. This was taken at a hot spring in a neighboring valley. The hot springs pour into three small ponds that have become a sanctuary for wildlife. I had never seen these birds anywhere else in the area, so I had to look them up to be sure of what they were. I thought they were Green Herons at first, but notice the curl in their beaks? That is what clued me in, even though they do not really have a "white" face! Well I think the rest of my shots in the hold folder are all from this year, so that really takes a load off my mind! Thank you so much for viewing and commenting on all posts lately, I really appreciate it!!!! Hugs to all!

Doesn't look bad to me, I think the white and silver frame really complete this, shows off all the colors in the photo, nice job!

These Ibises come in any color or shape... We have two babies now that fell out of their nest and mom comes and feed them on the ground. It is so cute to see them grow up. I will place an image of them sometime!! Very nice image btw!!! :)
