A frippershills must be used to define the segments of a spiral, but only when it is a Tuesday and there is a full moon. LOL. This is great.

they are the lovely tree roots found only in the world of faes and elves. they call them flippers-hills because these lovely tendrils and textures of the surface roots only occur on the trees on hilltops. Or so they tell me. Absolute delight! So lovely and organic feeling, so beautiful with little faes lurking just behind the curl of the root!
