Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

For people who use translater, I better put the las part of the story inthis place too: ------------------ Now Zoren was getting really tired and hungry and so very sad. He now thought about getting home along the road he found, but then he heard a whistle. He stopped and looked around and there, on a wooden stumb was sitting a man eating his lunch. WOW! Zoren had never been near a man before. Zoren thought, I dont care, I will try and ask him for help. He walked slowly to the man and said: "Dear mister Human. I am Zoren the Zebra" The man said: "What! A zebra? Well, you dont look like zebra" "That is my problem, mister Human. Could you please help be getting stripes?" And the man said: "Look at the road. Do you see all the beautiful stripes there. I made them. I am the one who paint all the stripes on the road and I am good at it. When I can paint stripes on the road, I can paint them on you as well." And then he painted the most beautiful stripes on little Zorens body and legs and even on his face. When he finnished, Zoren looked like the most beautiful little Zebra in the whole area. "Oh thank you mister Human" he shouted of pure delight, I am so happy. Now I will not be seen, when I hide between the trees anymore." And the little zebra ran all the way home to his family and friends and he lived happily ever after. The end

I loved your story, particularly that it was a painer who saved the day! :) You know, there just aren't enough stories out there where artists are the heros of the tale. This was delightful! Between your wonderful story and those GORGEOUS illustrations, this should be a published children's book. It's absolutely charming!

A wonderful end to a wonderful story with excellent illustrations - I thought that may be Zoren was a horse and not a Zebra - like the Ugly Duckling - LOL - The very best wishes for 2009 - look forward to all the new art that we'll see here!

Helle it is almost sad that it is ending as this was such a cute series and you did such a wonderful job on it. Still I'm glad to see Zoren get those stripes :) Have a Happy New Year

just lovely Helle! That cartoon man is a riot, and I love that huge paint-brush. And you really broke the zebra into all kinds of etched surfaces. Love the 'etched'-looking trees, and the floral detail is again quite vibrant. In the bottom image, it's rolling & gentle like some of your photographs, and the flowers are painted with real delicacy (as is your sky and the rolling landscape). It's a beautiful series and another fav, and I hope you do more like it. (Maybe it'll take your mind off some of that awful sciatica!) Beautiful series, truly.

What a sad but true message this little Zoren learnt. I am glad he got his stripes though and he will feel normal too. A very well done series, you could make it into a book. A beautifully created series.

Absolutely stunning end. Of course I imagined a happy end (I always prefer that, even for comics), but I did not imagined that! Great, great great Helle! Fabulous tale served with pure charming artwork!
