Description

This has much less zoom than yesterday's post. You can just make out that gear wheel behind that small pine in the center. I'd like to thank everyone for their support and encouragements, it is greatly appreciated. I wish everyone a safe and happy New Year.

Like it...and more old, abandoned concrete and iron work. Should you ever get up in the vicinity of Watertown, New York (east end of Lake Ontario) there is tons of this sort of stuff along the Black River. I know it is there...but it is just a little bit out of my geographic reach...maybe your too. Bill

Steam power put the water wheel mills out of existance. A sad, yet lovely view of early 19th century technology.
