Description
Nothing fancy, just me wishing you and yours a Happy (and safe) New Year, as well as taking stock of the year of 2008 in terms of my gallery here.
All in all I made less images this year on account of being busy with work. I've also posted less at this site due to more of my Poser time being taken up by private commissions and images/animations that are posted over at Renderotica (nothing against this site, they're just more suited to that one).
Below are a list of the 5 Images that for one reason or another, I liked the most:
T'Pol Makes First Contact [Star Trek]: I'd say it's my best/favourite T'Pol image to date. A good mix of creepy sci-fi creatures, scenery and lighting, and I think I got that vulcan "cool under pressure" look down pretty good in this one too. A special thanks to Porthos for her vital contributions on the Poser-Trek front.
Busty Elves In Peril: Looks Just Like The Sun: I just really like how the field/meadow turned out in this one, such a sunny, happy render. Also, this is the last one that I made before my CPU died on me. Is this the render that broke the Camel's back? Perhaps...
Busty Elves In Peril: Naked Ambitions: I would recommend you read the text if you haven't already. This one bascially sums up in a nutshell, my skills and mindset as an "Artist" (I use the term in the loosest possible sense).
Six In The Corridor [Tripping The Rift]: Not a very complicated image, but a good example of how far I've come with my version of the character "Six" to date. I'm quite pleased with her, as she's more realistic than the version in the show, yet still has enough cartoonishness in her to be fun (albeit of the "Jessica Rabbit" sense).
Ryloth Tourism Bureau - Reason 46 [Star Wars]: I had a lot of fun making this one, it's bascially Showgirls meets Starwars meets the Las Vegas tourism PR campaign.
So that's that. I'd like to end off my saying thank you for all your support and encouragement this past year, it is very much appreciated.
