Description
Yep, it's another vintage aircraft showing up in the Wings3D gallery. Kind of fitting, even though the wings in the software name has nothing to do with flight nor aviation. (And before you say the proportions are off, look at a few pics of the Junkers F13 elsewhere on the internet.)
This started out as a test render in Carrara, but then I decided to take some artistic license with it...
Still not quite done though. Need to add seats, some more external hardware (there's even more handles and such), then it needs to be smoothed one more time and UV mapped. After UV mapping, there then needs to be a displacement map (for the corregated parts of course), and then a livery or two made.
Then on top of all that, I got to record those steps to properly finish the Wings3D modeling tutorial I'm making at WikiBooks, and then make the model itself available under GPL for a flight-sim project I'm contributing to.
