Description

No snow, just fog and frost. Sometimes, when its allowed by global warming, in Holland the ditches and canals turned in to a icy playground and all there habitants switch there wooden shoes for small iron strips, called skates! Some of you will recognize this spot, posted a green one last October called Crommenije. Have a wonderful New year, thanks for your support and kind comments you’ve gives me on my previous postings. Its so inspiring! Also thanks to everyone who added my work as a favorite.

I can remember doing this in South Dakota, the first time, the lake by where my mom grew up was frozen so we all skated around in our shoes, we didn't have any skates with us, but it was still fun and a great memory.

Wonderful pic! It remains me at my youth, when the little rivers and lakes here in Berlin were frozen for 8 or 10 weeks. I have my ice equipment till today. It was pure fun......sometimes. Thanks for sharing!
