Description
So here's my first picture for 2009. :) One of my goals is to blend with the old with the new - i.e. enjoy my new fun stuff but try to keep using my 'older' stuff that's been gathering dust since I bought it. I had bought the texture for this dress back in March - can't believe I've never used it! As for new, I'm using the 'free' characer that Syltermermaid so graciously provided to everyone (i.e. the lovely Andrea) and a cool new backdrop from DAZ called the Arcadia Colonnade.
Please be sure to zoom on this. Tons of detail to see. :) Yes, this was one of those I spent way too much time on. Had fun doing it though.

Beautiful character! The outfit is really cool. Love the roses on it. She is like the rose beautiful but with thorns. check out those nails! Be careful if you plan to get near her. Look, do not touch!

I can see where you put so much post work into this because in some areas, like the background pillars there is so much fine detail but on the botanicals you have them slightly smudged. The contrast of sharp and dull really makes this image sing and it was worth whatever effort it cost you. Also really love the gray matt lighting that you used... gives the impression of the soft light of an overcast day.
