Description
In the night.
That moment where you are exploring some dark stairwell in an unknown location...and those dollar store batteries fail. While shaking the thing and muttering under your breath you hear shuffling. Almost, but not quite, like footsteps. Soon, as the flashlight starts to be strangled by your grip as you start slapping it in hopes to get light, a low growling could be heard. A thick noise that you could almost feel the breath of whatever it was that was coming closer run over your skin. In a sudden and blinding moment the pitiful batteries decide to work for a few seconds longer-long enough for you to get a glimpse of what exactly it was that you heard.
Right before the light dies...and the screams start.

Very creepy. Saw a movie promo not long ago that was something like this but I think yours is creepier.
