Description

After a short respite to celebrate New Year's day, we now continue with our beloved, but tortured, daisies. Photos one and two are my first attempts in the realm of infrared, TwoPynt's favorite genre. Following the meticulous instructions on creating infrared effects in the users manual, this is how it turned out. They vary only in matter of degree. Actually, they look they were dipped in bleached flour. A varifocus filter was used in the third picture, depicting a clear sharp core in the center of the otherwise blurred image. The fourth shot shows the dire results to the eyes from staring at the daisies for hours on end. And, imagine my surprise when I discovered daisies had nipples and areolas. Poor daisies. Very interesting...the use of infrared. I have looked at quite a few examples in TwoPynt's gallery. Another item on my to-do list. Now, the fourth image I can really identify with... Harry, I wasn't a big fan of the daisies at first but for some reason they are growing on me. They do provide good examples of effects. Bill

I'm loving the daisies! With this one I like them all... But after seeing the fourth one I'll never think of daisies the same way again. And now I'll get in the habit of telling all my friends that daisies have nipples... I'm sure they'll love that! The sad thing is that I think I've said stranger things to my friends and it wont get the reaction I desire. Oh well. Awesome Filters!
