Description
The Mansfield Reformatory is also known for its ghosts. They even have ghost hunt weekends where you stay overnight in the prison armed only with a flashlight and your fears. Aside from the many inmates that died there some other residents were also not very fortunate. With the exception of a few final years, the warden and his family LIVED at the prison. Imagine raising your children there. Many did. The last family to live there ended their stay tragically. The warden's wife was getting something out of a closet when a gun stored within fell to the floor. It discharged, struck her in her chest killing her. Two months later the warden died from a heart attack at his desk.
Here is my interpretation of the haunting. Was the warden's wife wearing a red dress? I leave that up to the imagination.
Anyone ready to spend the night?
(special thanks to my Dad, "camera" on here, for making me the woman)

Thats ok....when I asked you to "make me a woman", my wife over heard it and replied,"You already have one!"

nice combo of images - quite an outfit for a lowly reformatory! Although one could say she's a lost soul who left ... and came back seeking past simplicity. With a wife & daughters, I have too many women :-)
