Description

Well, at the beginning of Dec I took a trip to Flagstaff AZ. Went with a friend of mine who works with Boeing on a trip they take each year for "Project Love". A Gift giving trip for the Indian Tribes out there. We drove there in an 18 wheeler Peterbilt. So it was more of a working trip than a Photo op. Keep in mind that this was taken while in the passenger seat of a rig going about 40MPH, as most of my pics from the trip were. Anyway, I was told this is called Elephant feet. Not sure if this is the true name or not. They are really just standing there out of the blue with mostly flat land around it. Quite strange. It was a great time there for the 3 days, nice to get out of CA. Hope all had a good New Years eve and will have a great year ahead. Here's to 2009!! -B

I seen another place in Arizona that had a rock abutment called elephant.It was snowing and a really bitterly cold wind blowing so I did not stay very long.excellent subject and moving capture
