Description

Done a series of images of the big wheel we have at Gorky park, Rostov-na-Donu. By the way, Goraky Parks can be found in many Russian cities, not only in Moscow. Thank you for welcoming my LIT-UP! Hope this year is starting quite well for the RR people. I only resume work on January 12th which is a really good start. Nikolay

Is altophobia related to sopranophobia:) Off 'til the 12th...nice, but then the Eastern Orthodox Christmas date is January 7th if I recall our conversation. Back to your photo...the coloring is unusual, begging the question of how did you do that? A very intriguing image. Bill

a beautifully granulated, atomized vision, the piece seems to be showing us its very atoms, quietly & subtly; they whisper across space to us. The trees in front of the Ferris wheel are wonderful (very complex and organic), and your colorization of the trees in the center is pitch perfect, as if everything were made of the same substance and has changed colors in the wind. And the images in the lower left are like pure organic-process taking place before our eyes. And the grays & rust-browns are in real harmony. It evokes altophobia, but it also evokes beauty & sheer organic process. Another wonderful piece, Nikolay. You sure know how to make an image sing...
