Description

Happy New Year renderosity people!! I'm in a bit of a rush today so not much time for chat but thought I'd find time to make an upload to celebrate some of the first pics taken with my new toy, a Canon 40D... I'm still saving for a quality wide-angle lens then I'll have taken my first steps towards a pretty respectable setup =) The festive period has been nicely relaxed with family, and pictured is one of my regular local haunts due to the good beer, friendly staff, interesting decor, and perhaps most importantly, a decent pool table ;) Historically it also has much significance - the tower marks the spot where, on the afternoon of Sunday 23rd October 1642, King Charles I raised his standard and summoned his officers about him to prepare for the first major battle of the English Civil War. It was constructed about a century later in honour of this moment in history and has seemingly been going strongly ever since.. Must dash now, hope you're all doing well, here's to a great 2009! Adam
