it's like opening a surprisegift..lol...this was this inside of the Kiwano and it tasted very fresh and sweet. Thanks for your comment and I hope you like this one too...smile

Excellent close-up! From your photo it reminds me mostly of a green pomagranate. So you managed to haul me off into your adventure. I had to go and find web pages that describe how to eat a kiwano, that they taste kind of like a kiwi plus a cucumber if picked green, or like a banana if allowed to ripen more before harvest. Even says somewhere that they are native to a part of the Kalahari Desert. Kind of like prickly pears (fruits of the cactus).

Wow, how viscous can you get? Spectacular macro of the esoteric fruit, Ulla! Looks like the insides of a kiwi fruit that spent a short time in a blender.
