Born 1941. Yeah, I know, that's old. Live in Rome. Was raised in Buenos Aires, and still feel that as home. Work as a consultant in GIS (Geographical Information Systems). My hobby, or maybe my real profession, is South American history. My wife is a very well known (in her specialized world ) Roman archeologist. Our son is 30 years old, but hasn't decided to grow up yet. Deals in politics. We travel, at least an important travel each year.

They look very old. These sort of places fascinate me. The beautiful architecture in a place that is functional and, presumably, not intended to be visited by humans on a frequent basis. Shows the pride the builders put into their work in the past. These days, it would be constructed with cast concrete. Beautiful photo.
