Description
This is one for you Ronnie, I spotted this among the usual suspects at the park lake. It is becoming increasingly seen around here. There has even been the odd pair breed! It will be some time before it gets everywhere like the Canada Goose. It was shot with 800 asa so is quite grainy, it was under the trees in the late afternoon light so it was that or nothing.
One to look out for!

Thank you Kevin, fred255 David had posted one of these, and I said in that comment that I had not seen one, he is close to you I believe in his neck of the woods, don't think they are anywhere in London at the moment, but it sure is a pretty bird!...You did well for the light restrictions and high ISO my friend.

I have some pictures of a bird that looks sort of like this too that were taken in London. I will post it, perhaps you could let me know if it is the same species ? From some of the photos looked up on the web it looks like this could be the one.
