Description
Time in Time
Red faced hit the big red bus
Embarrassed feeling foolish
But an ear can laugh with
Explain the needs of time
Learn everyday insight from others
Realize mistakes of being wrong
And how the eyes open wide
Maybe right next time can see
How a gentle hug or snug
Sweet kiss on the cheek
Makes boo boo's in time
A little better to forgive
Words not meant to hurt
Wrung tears running wild
Hiccup and hiccup
Time tends to mend
As a walk in the wind
Blows across the face
A strand of hair follows
Eyes thinking towards
The skies and the clouds
In time warms the sun

This makes me thing of civilizations long gone, the backdrop for a sci-fi mystery. What was this structure, now flooded? Or was it always under water and has now been exposed? Is it hollow, a city inside, or the framework for something larger? Wonderfully done, Linda Kaye ... the part of the chair you've chosen to reveal is intriguing! I like your poem, too. I'm sending you a hug, just in case. :) ... Tara May

Wonderful image and words, my friend! There's a softness to the hard edges and corrosion, a gathering strength, an optimism that shines but still acknowledges the source of redness, which is also the source of light and warmth.

The shiny silver look to this is amazing, Linda. Kind of reminds me of a whale diving into the ocean waters.

Hi Linda, thank you for the sweet and touching words in your poem. The wheel makes me think of life itself. You sometimes get dunked into the deepest end, but there is always an upside too.
