I live on a beach, so I know nothing about skating on frozen ponds. I would be tooooo scared of falling through, or is that just a problem in movies!!!! Maybe I am thinking of quick sand!

you've 'painted' with grays & silver-whites. It's a beautiful, peaceful & somewhat pensive view of a river. The trees are captured beautifully. Wonderful scene with just the right title. I grew up skating on a nearby frozen pond in the winter. If we fell through, the pond wasn't deep but who knew? Well done. Bill
