Description

I'm trying to create a believable jade texture in C4D and I figured I try it out on DAZ3D Millennium Dragon. After several renders this is closest I got, but it's still a WIP. I threw in a few random models to help establish scale, but most will be removed in the final render. Does anyone know of a GOOD subsurf tutorial for C4D? Thanks for viewing! Critiques are welcome.

Very nice! The only critique I might make is that most of the jade things I've seen in real life are somewhat translucent, so turning up the sub surface scattering settings would help sell this even move. But that is a very very small critique, I think your texture is magnificent!

That's what I've been trying to accomplish, but I can't seem to find quite the right settings. The previous render looked more like jello than jade. LOL Thanks for the critique!
