Description
My favorite scene in "The Fellowship of the Ring," when Gandalf sacrifices himself fighting the Balrog in order to let the rest of the Fellowship escape the Mines of Moria.
Rendered in D|S, fire, smoke, and light effects added in Photoshop CS3.
Suggestions of how to improve, especially the effects, would be most welcome :) .

It took me a while to figure out what I was seeing - it seems ultra dark on my monitor, except for the Balrog's firey whip, which is very vivid. But that may be just my monitor. I love that scene in the movie too!
