Description

This view is from Desert View overlook south of Yarnell on highway 89 and is toward the southwest. I had driven to Prescott and stayed with friends in the hope to either see some snow or rain. Saw neither. When I returned home my automatic raingage had recorded 0.12 inches of rain in my absence. This picture was taken on 4 January 2009. Thank you for viewing or commenting on my uploads. To coin an old English phrase, this is smashing!!! I love the size of this pano. The detail is great. How many pics did you stitch together for this huge result? Reminds me of my two years at Fort Irwin, CA in the Mojave Desert. Bill

Fantastic pano Sig, I wonder if you have noticed the animal? bottom left. Not a real one but it does look somewhat like a cougar/mountain lion. Just to the right of the two large rocks there is what looks like a circle with the head of the lion in that circle. A very interesting image, is there actually two raods here one above the other? It sure looks that way to me. Not been around much for the last couple of months but I am around now for a short while at least. Excellent work, has to be a favourite for me. Bravo!!!!!
